Home » Card Usage » Is using credit card daily bad for credit score?
Tagged: credit card usage, credit health, daily spending
No, using a credit card daily is not bad for your credit score by itself. What matters is how you use it and how you repay. If you spend daily but keep your total usage low and pay the full bill on time, your score can stay healthy or even improve. The issue comes when daily swipes push your credit utilisation too high, like using a big chunk of your limit, because high utilisation can pull your score down even if you pay on time. Another risk is missing the due date or paying only minimum due, that’s when real damage happens. Simple rule: keep utilisation low (ideally under 30%), pay full before due date, and don’t convert everything into EMIs. Daily usage is fine, careless usage is the problem.
