Tagged: credit facts, credit score myths, score check
Nahi, apna khud ka credit score check karna har time score reduce nahi karta. When you check your score through a credit score app or a credit report portal, it’s usually a soft enquiry, which does not impact your score. Score tab dip hota hai when a bank or lender checks your report for a new loan or credit card application, that’s a hard enquiry. Ek do hard enquiries normal hain, but agar you apply at multiple places in a short time, it can look like you’re urgently hunting for credit and score thoda drop ho sakta hai. Simple rule: score check karte raho for tracking and errors, but loan or card applications ko baar baar mat karo. Bas timely EMIs, low card usage, and clean repayments will matter much more than checking your score.
