Consent Withdrawal Policy

GoodScore respects the privacy and data protection rights of its users. We collect, process and store personal and credit information strictly based on explicit user consent, in compliance with applicable laws, RBI guidelines, and credit bureau regulations.

Users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time, subject to regulatory and contractual obligations.

1. Effect of Consent Withdrawal

Consent withdrawal applies to accessing credit information from Credit Information Companies (CICs) and might affect processing personal or financial data by GoodScore and the continued use of GoodScore services.

Upon successful withdrawal of consent:

GoodScore will stop further access to your credit information from credit bureaus.

No fresh credit report pulls or bureau requests will be initiated.

Certain services that depend on credit data may become unavailable.

Data already collected may be retained only as required by law, regulatory guidelines, or for audit/compliance purposes.

2. Process of Consent Withdrawal

2.1. Consent Withdrawal Request

Send an email request

Email us at help@goodscore.app with your registered mobile number, registered email ID, and a clear request for consent withdrawal. An acknowledgment will be shared within 72 working hours.

Identity verification

GoodScore will verify your identity to prevent unauthorized withdrawal. The consent withdrawal will be processed only upon successful verification.

  • Data retention obligations (if any)
  • Effective date of consent withdrawal

Processing completed within 7 working days

Processing will be completed within 7 working days from the date of request.

2.2. Verification & Processing

Once the request is received, GoodScore will verify the user's identity to prevent unauthorized withdrawal. The consent withdrawal will be processed only upon successful verification within 7 working days from the date of request.

2.3. Escalation Details

If you do not receive confirmation within the above timelines or are dissatisfied with the handling of the request, you may escalate using the matrix below.

4. Credit Bureau Related Consent Withdrawal

If you withdraw consent for accessing credit information, GoodScore will notify the relevant Credit Information Company. No further credit report access will be performed post-withdrawal. For correction or dispute of credit information already reported, contact the respective bureau directly:
